No Database Required

Most document management programs use a "black box" database to store files. This means that files must be imported/exported, aren't easily accessed outside of their software, and are vulnerable to database errors.

FileCenter uses the native Windows file system to store your files. Your files will always be available, even outside of FileCenter. If you should ever stop using FileCenter, none of your files will be lost.

No Import/Export Required

Because FileCenter uses the native Windows file system to store files, all of your existing folders and files can be used inside of FileCenter without any import or conversion.

Preview Documents without Launching Native Applications

FileCenter's built-in previewer will give you real-time previews for most file types. Examine Word, WordPerfect, PDF, image, spreadsheet, and other text files without opening them.
